Original art and commissions are created using canvas or panel, professional-grade acrylic paints, and archival mediums. Paper-based works may be available for select projects.
Large-scale works are typically available for local pickup only.

Limited in-person pickup may be available for collectors in the NJ or NYC area and must be discussed at the start of the commission process.

All commissioned work is final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds.
If a work arrives damaged, please contact hey@violetroots.com promptly so the issue can be addressed.

Commissioned work is either shipped to the collector or available for local pickup.
Orders are fulfilled and shipped directly by third-party production partners, with the exception of original artwork and scarves, which are packaged and shipped by us directly.
Monthly subscription items are shipped the first week of every month when available.
Products from different categories may ship separately and arrive in multiple packages at different times. Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary by provider.

Commissions

Commission requests are considered on a limited basis. Requests are reviewed with attention to scale, context, and alignment with the studio practice.

Commissions are created using acrylic paint on traditional canvas or canvas panel. Paper-based works may be available for select projects. Digital artwork is not currently offered for custom commissions.

The standard timeline for commissioned work is approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on scale and scope.
A more specific estimate is provided once commission details are confirmed. If timing shifts during the process, you will be notified.

Commission pricing varies based on size, materials, and complexity. Each work is one-of-one and created specifically for the requesting collector.
Custom commissions begin at $750, with a 50% nonrefundable deposit required to secure placement in the schedule.
