The Best Holiday Music!
Did you know that Christmas is basically ten days away? I’m sure if you happen to live in an area that celebrates and you haven’t decided to live under a rock for December, you’re aware. The best holiday music is on offer, you might have some chestnuts roasting on an open fire, maybe paper snowflakes or even a tree in your home. Regardless of what you celebrate (or don’t) this time of the year I feel like we can all get something positive out of it.
Today, for instance, we’ll all get to kick back and enjoy some of the best holiday music. Maybe in a couple of weeks, some of us will receive gifts instead of coal in our stockings. Maybe tomorrow some of us will simply get a few extra marshmallows in our hot cocoa. The point is that this festive season has an overall vibe of endless possibilities!
I can get a bit cranky at times and moody at other intervals but once December hits I become that carefree kid again who didn’t have a worry in the world. Instead of thinking about bills or some other adult plight I busy myself with sugar cookies, decorations, holiday plans and wishing for a white Christmas.
The only difference between Christmas then and Christmas now is that I don’t care as much about the gifts. I’m just drawn to the festive spirit, the energy around this season and the build up. There is nothing like it!
I apologize to anyone who may work in retail or any kind of service job where you’ve been forced to listen to Christmas music since Halloween. This season does have some amazing music and no one can argue with that. Hopefully, I’ve sifted through the clutter and only presented you with the best holiday music today. I promise it won’t be annoying!
Keep in mind that I’m super excited for Christmas and jamming to the best holiday music will forever be my favorite pastime! Some of the songs featured in this super-sized playlist are relatively new, some are old and from varying music styles.
This week scroll on down and give your ears a bit of bliss in the form of Kelly Clarkson, N*SYNC, Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Leona Lewis, Wham!, Destiny’s Child, Sam Smith, Idina Menzel & Michael Bublé, and (of course) Mariah Carey. You can also listen to all featured artists on Spotify!
